December 2006: Added "Sitemap ~ of Sorts" page! Added crock pot / slow cooker recipe links to Her Page: Crockpot Recipes (FoodDownUnder.com); Crockpot Recipes (My-Crockpot-Recipes.com); Crock Pot Recipes (SouthernFood.About.com). Added to the Church page: Online Parallel Bible "Our mission is to increase the visibility and accessibility of the Scriptures online. Our site is designed to get you quickly to the verse, version & site you need."
November 2006: Added to Other TRELFORD Lines - England, Ireland, Canada, USA page: There is a Lake TRELFORD in Alaska, five miles from Cold Bay in Aleutians East Borough. Which individual gave his or her name to this lake? Read about The History Of Cold Bay. Also on the same page: Other TRELFORD listings in the Street Index, Belfast, Antrim, Ireland (Belfast Poor Law Union or civil registration district c.1885), etc.: TRELFORD Street.
September & October 2006: We've been busy, but not with webpages!
August 2006: Much more info added to Other TRELFORD Lines - England, Ireland, Canada, USA page.
July 2006: Photos of Coalmont, BC, Canada added (395 KB) - you have to see the Meat Market with the "ghost of the Coalmont Hotel" reflected in the window! More was discovered about an older brother of Alexander Biggart Sayer SMITH: see the little write-up about William Sayer SMITH (a.k.a. William Sawyer SMITH, 1841 - 1919) near the bottom of the page. Also his wife, Georgina Swanson GOW & her brother, James John GOW! More information should be available soon. Automated Genealogy is a great site for searching 1901 & 1911 Census of Canada, as well as viewing the images online. Thank you, volunteers! A few more details added to: The GILBERT Page; Alfred Charles GILBERT; Herbert Joseph GILBERT & Reginald Herbert GILBERT (a.k.a. Reg GILBERT). One surprise was learning that a daughter, Mabel Gladys Evaline, was born 20 Aug 1891 in Hamilton, Ontario to Herbert Joseph & Sarah Mary Evaline GILBERT, but appears to have died between 1897 & 1901. Thank you, The Recents Obituary list - Alberta and British Columbia, (B.C.) Canada, for adding to our research! Another surprise was the discovery of the Reginald Herbert GILBERT Image Gallery online. This site has a portrait of Reg as well as some military records & newspaper clippings from Queen's University Archives. It is very informative. Two "new & improved" photos of the Welby Stagecoach & a Carriage at the Livery on Vermilion Avenue here in Princeton, BC. The Index for the Granite Creek Cemetery near Coalmont, BC (1898 - 1985) is now on this site, kindly shared by permission of Coalmont, BC - the little city that never quite made it, a great site! Photos of Granite Creek & the cemetery have been added. Coalmont is next on the photos-to-add list! Thank you, Bob & Diane! Stuck? Maybe this will help (but there are no guarantees in genealogy): J. Amy Newman, NEWMAN RESEARCH SERVICES Genealogical Researcher & Forensic Genealogist, Finding Missing Heirs & Ancestors; Specialty: Locating living people in US & Canada, such as missing heirs & beneficiaries, adoptees, birth parents, etc. Also providing BC Vital Stats Registration copy service, BC obituary searches & other Vancouver area research. Thank you, Amy! Do you have information to share on any of the lines mentioned below, please? We are now corresponding with another DUNCAN cousin-researcher, so will add the information to the related pages, again, when time permits. Thank you, Graham, for 30-plus pages of info! Twenty-plus separate family groups, etc. listed on the Other TRELFORD Lines - England, Ireland, Canada, USA page. This could become "All Things TRELFORD"! Some links added on World War One casualties: Second Lieut. Reginald Herbert GILBERT (Abt. 1893 - 1918), Pte. Henry Isaac TRANTER (1895 - 1916) & Pte. Joseph TRANTER, R.A.S.C. (1900 - 1918), Capt. Lionel TRANTER (1887 - 1915) &
Sergt. William Victor TRANTER (1893 or 1894 - 1915). TRANTER Surname in Australia & England, also contact Royston J. TRANTER. Thank you, Roy!

There are photos of various places being added now, as well as links to external sites - please click around the website as they are not listed on this page - yet. Sadly, on the morning of Satuday, April 8th, the historic Princeton Hotel (655 KB - scroll down) was destroyed by fire: "Fire destroys B.C. Interior landmark" (CBC); "Fire reduces historic Princeton Hotel to pile of rubble" (PentictonHerald.ca). Here's an earlier, undated photo with the Princeton Hotel in the background.
