December 2007: Computer seems to be user-friendly again, so we are looking forward to adding to the family tree & other parts of our home on the web soon! Here are a couple of new links:
Merritt Tourism (Merritt, BC);
We wish all of you a Merry Christmas & a happy & prosperous 2008!

July through November 2007: No updates online due to computer challenges but we keep trying!
June 2007: Descendants of Alexander KENNEDY & Mary TRELFORD added to the TRELFORD Page - thank you, Stan! Does anyone have information on Ann HOGG, born 1831 in Ireland, who married John TRELFORD? Or any info on Abigal HOGG & James KENNEDY who were married sometime after 1832 when James KENNEDY arrived in Toronto with two sons, John C. KENNEDY & William KENNEDY, after burying his first wife at sea on their trip from Edinburgh, Scotland? John C. KENNEDY and William KENNEDY were two of the original settlers, along with the TRELFORD brothers, William TRELFORD, Henry TRELFORD & Copeland TRELFORD, who all homesteaded nearby lots in Arran Twp., Bruce Co., Ontario, Canada West in the early 1850's. Another intriguing, yet inconclusive, clue is from an 1837 Directory of Home District land owners, which places a James KENNEDY on Lot 16, Conc. 6, Chinquacousy West, and an Alexander HOGG on Lot 15, Conc. 1, Chinquacousy West, only five miles apart. Please send us e-mail if you have information to share! Also added to the TRELFORD Page: Henry TRELFORD (1857 - Aft. 1901) Lancashire, England to Ontario, Canada. Added to the: Grave Marker of Adam TRELFORD, Louisa TRELFORD & Thomas TRELFORD Page & Canowindra, New South Wales, Australia Page, a link to A photo by Tony TRELFORD, Canowindra, NSW ("The transit of Mercury"). Added to the LENT page: Descendants of Wyatt C. LENT & Mary LYTLE; also a photo of the Wyatt C. LENT & Mary LYTLE Grave (35 KB) - thank you, Jeanne! "Memories from someone who was born & raised in Princeton & spent the first 19 years of my life there . . " added to: Wooden Bridge or Brown Bridge, Cave & Princeton Brewery (Remains) & Cenotaph Park, Princeton, BC, Canada.
